About the Artists
EMCA invites you to enjoy an exciting and entertaining concert series. This year's lineup consists of the following seven performances. All concerts are at 8:00 P.M. in the Pinawa Community Centre.

The four multitalented members of Hotel California present a dynamic, exciting show saluting The Eagles, a 1970s supergroup whose music has proven to have a staying power that few bands can claim. This timeless music entertains crowds of all ages with such hits as, Life in the Fast Lane, Take it Easy, Desperado and many more.

Raylene Rankin, Cindy Church and Susan Crowe, all award winning recording artists, bring their varied musical signatures together on the stage to blend folk, county, jazz and contemporary with a confident ease. Their textured harmonies and welcoming rapport invites the audience in and makes them want to stay.

One of Canada's most outstanding musicians, internationally renowned pianist Alexander Tselyakov, will perform with an 8-piece string and percussion ensemble. They will present an evening of Bach, Milhaud and Chopin along with a selection of Christmas music.

PEI fiddler Cynthia MacLeod has built an international reputation on raw talent and boundless energy. She has won more than a dozen Music PEI awards, including Entertainer of the Year. Cynthia has produced 4 critically acclaimed CDs that have secured her a place among the very best of East Coast fiddle music. Her fans know what to expect from Cynthia: down-home charm and a high-energy show with fun, fiddle, and step-dancing.

A Tribute to Stan Rogers

A talented musician and prolific songwriter with a rich baritone voice, Nathan fulfils the high expectations placed on the son of Canadian folk icon Stan Rogers. Nathan has shared the stage with JP Cormier, The Oysterband, Spirit of the West, John Cameron, and continues to earn his place in the Canadian folk and blues canon. In deference to the many requests he receives, Nathan will tour with a program of Stan's songs in tribute to his father's musical legacy.

Foothills Brass

The five versatile and high energy musicians of the Foothills Brass provide an exciting exploration of the beginnings of jazz- from ragtime to Dixie and showtunes to swing. Audiences are inspired by the sounds of some of the greatest jazz composers of all time, such as Gershwin and Jelly Roll Morton and will tap their toes to classic favourites such as The Entertainer, Old Man River and a Beatles' tune or two.
